the American Diabetes Association has published clinical guidelines, these
are not specific for pharmacists, but an excellent group of overall
recommendations. Addionally, you may wish to examine what CDE's are doing.
(certified diabetes educators). Finally there is a newsletter thst may give
you some contacts. Search for* Diabetes-in-Control* this is a nearly daily
e-newsletter with information.
Just remembered. There was a woman at the Medical College of Virginia School
of Pharmacy (I think)- Kelly Goode PharmD that was setting up pharmaceutical
care programs in conjuction with the university there.....good luck!
