As with any lamp, UV lamp performance deteriorates with
time. If they are being used for stability light challenge studies the performance needs to be monitored and the lamp replaced when the output falls to an unacceptably low level. Manufacturers' declarations offer guidance but not definitive information on the performance of a particular lamp. Regards, Brian Matthews.
